The beginnings of an eco dream home!

The entrance to a traditionally built Round House (South Wales)

This is the bed platform, it is raised quite high so you can walk under it. There will be no dividing walls. The house is designed to be open plan

The Recycle Lady's children are helping out, having fun and learning various eco-friendly building techniques. The gentleman at the bottom of the straw bails is applying a wattle and daub mixture to the interior straw supports.

The back of the Round House is built into an embankment, the passage way acts as a shield from the direct earth thus preventing damp from creeping into the living area's

Above is a Round House built to store logs gathered from the surrounding woodland. Once dried the logs are used for open fire's. Open fires are the main source of heat for the Round House dwellers. The heat produced is used for cooking, cleaning and washing
